Quarantine Day 2 – Mother's Day

Today’s theme is MOTHER’S DAY!!!!!!! Since we are off we have a lot more time to do things. This means we didn’t have to wake up early and rush because we needed to be somewhere. We bought her a nice yellow (which is her favourite colour) mug, a box of salted caramel Thornton chocolates, a purple bracelet and the new animal crossing game- she is obsessed! We also gave her a selection of shop bought and home made cards along with one from my brother with an acrostic poem that didn’t even make sense.

I mean!?!?! Anyway after she opened all her presents, we had breakfast from our awesome local village cafe, and it was amazing! Then we got to relax and even drop off things for my parents mothers – at a safe distance of course!!!

So, yes, while being in quarantine does suck, good things can come out of it as well! Today was lovely, when usually I would be rushing around doing homework and panicking about tests.

Also, I would just like to say that while coffee shops are closed, many now do delivery and so can everyone please go and support your local businesses at this difficult time.
