Hi! Glad you enjoyed the murder mysteries last week!
I am in Year 6. This means next year that I am going to secondary school! I will miss my old school a lot. My new school will be about a hundred times bigger, and I am TERRIBLE with directions! I am going to need to carry several maps around with me at ALL times! They have classes in different buildings and multiple floors! Even the field is so big you could get lost in it!
I am not sure I will enjoy having different teachers for different subjects. At my current school, you have one or two main teachers, and a couple assistants. I don’t even think I will be able to remember my new teachers NAMES! I will definitely miss my teachers, but since I have a younger brother, I can go to all the fairs and stuff.
You get sorted into houses at high school, and you do most activities in those groups. I am worried I will be with none of my friends. Most of them have older siblings, and will probably be put in the same groups as them.
I also need to be able to find my way to the library from almost every class, as that is where I will be spending my breaks.

Abi you will be fine. Going to a new school is daunting at first, but I know you will take it in your stride. You are a confident young lady and think of all the new friends you will meet. Nanna and Grandad are very proud of you and know you will do well. Stay positive. xxxx

Ummm you will definitely have a problem finding the library at your new school as you can never find your way anywhere. 😂😂😂 Seriously you’ll be fine at your new school, just try to enjoy it. 😘
