Quarantine Day 99 – School and Facts!

WOW! It’s already day 99! The days all seem to blur into one!

At school we (the year sixes) are definitely going back for one week before I finish primary school for ever. We are also each (in my class) going to do a number of things, all for a special DVD that we will get at the end of the year. We will get some pictures of our first day at school and now to show how we have changed and each hold up a sign saying what we would like to be when we are older. I would LOVE to be an architect for Disney World. It would be so cool to design all the rides, hotels and restaurants!

Also, here are some hilarious but true facts!

1. Turtles can breath through their butts.
2. A quarter of people in the USA think the sun orbits the earth, not the other way around.
3. While in Kentucky, US, make sure never to carry ice-cream in your back pocket – it’s illegal in the state!
4. It’s thought that there are actually more plastic flamingos on US soil than there are real ones!

5.The ancient Greeks, apparently, used to throw apples at each other to show that they loved them.

6. Up until the mid-1980s, it was illegal for anyone in Iceland to have a pet dog! Thankfully, this law has been long since repealed.

7.It’s thought that there are around 350 sheep to every one person in the Falkland Islands.

8. In Los Angeles, California, there are more cars on the road than there are people in the city.
